I have Spinning Class Tomorrow night but I dont know if I should tell the teacher I got a private lesson on Saturday from out buddy Tims sister. She has been spinning for years I got so frustrated friday night I had to call her to help me out. I learned alot it a short time from her so hopefully I dont mess it all up in class tomorrow. She also invited me to join her spinning group that meets every Thurday at an alpaca farm when I get my own wheel. They sit around spin and drink wine sounds like a good time to me. Ray laughed and said it must be a real men bashing session every week LOL.
We went out saturday night to see my friends band Patio Cowboys and I got hammered my god am I a lightweight I havent drank in a long time and cant drink milk drinks anymore so I decided to try coconut rum and coke. and they went down reallllly easy and so did I. Ray had to be DD for me and Katy its funny how you dont feel it till you stop dancing and get into a warm truck. I thought Ray was going to have to carry me in. He of course thought it was funny. Sunday we visited my papa in rehab he is trying to get some strength back he has been really weak lately and its hard for meme to help him. Then we lounged around the rest of the day. I did finish our buddy marks new wool hat so I got something done.

I did it I went to spinning class it was really fun there are 3 other ladies there and we all get to take our wheels home to practice I just wish they gave us more wool. I really really need to practice I had never spun before and I suck. I keep getting the wool to thin and tight and it would bunch up I had to pull it back and take the twist out and try again. When we left I was no better so I just sat here and spun half of what I was given while watching Idol. I think I could become addicted if I ever get it right sssh dont tell ray it will be months before I can afford my own wheel but I can dream. If any of my knitter friends out there see a real cheap wheel let me know. I am going to the spa weekend in Portland next month I guess there are alot of venders there but its also a week after I get back from florida so maybe just maybe I can not splerge in fl. I might be able to pick a little something up. But the class was fun and I met some new people nobody I would hang with all the time but hey you never know.
I got the damn sniffles from michael its time to take some nyquil and hit the bed good night all.

I forgot to tell you the knitting thing was a bust. Nobody there well one lady and the girl at the counter. I didnt even go inside. I was really disappointed but what can I do about it. I am going tuesday to sign up for the beginners spinning class watch I'll be the only one in that too or the person teaching it will be like 10. Wish me luck I'm going to take a hot shower and call it a night. Later

no knitting for me:(

I am such an ass sometimes. I went to the coffee shop and guess what closed up tight. So I call Ray and I'm all blubbery "how am I going to ever meet new friends if I cant find something to do" boo hoo hoo He was all supportive and shit but not like he can do anything about it. So I stop and grab a bite to eat since Michael and Ray had ate before dance class. I get home and dig through the trash can next to my desk cuz that is where I put the paper with the add and guess what I'm such a boob its tomorrow night. Last time I had seen the add it was the second Tuesday of the month so Tuesday stuck in my head and this paper said its Wednesday night at 5:30.
I will try again tomorrow hopefully they are actually there. I'll keep you posted.

I did have a nice surprise when I got home I had an email from my secret pal and after the blubbering I had just done it really made me smile. I wonder if the people that started Secret Pal knew they would have a real impact on some of our otherwise boring lives.

I cant believe I havent posted in a week. I was thinking I posted just the other day. Anyways it was freezing here last weekend, so I finally wallpapered my kitchen. Last year when I was laid off I peeled all the old wallpaper and have been looking at the discusting stuff underneath for a year. It took 8 hours on Sunday to wallpaper an 11x11 room going around all the cabinets and stuff and to think that we only did from the window sill up on one wall. This weekend we are going to put shiplap boards on the lower half of the room. I cant wait. The new windows are already in all that will be left is the floor and the trim. I am not going to do what I did in Jamies room I got everything done and still hadn't done the final trim now it looks bad again and I'm going to have start her room over.
I took some before pictures of the kitchen I cant wait for the after. Its funny Ray was going to go ice fishing with Michael on Sunday but the roads were too bad and he decided not to go but man was he not happy about it. He practically refuses to help with the redo. My mom and stepdad spent the entire day helping me and Ray got off the couch maybe twice when we hollered to him that he was needed. What is it with most men not caring at all what the house looks like as long as there is food and a bed the hell with the rest of the house.

Tonight I think I'm going to a sip and knit coffee thing that I saw in the paper. I had seen it advertised last year ran straight there from work and nobody was there the coffee shop was closed up tight no signs nothing. I saw it again last week in the what to do section of the paper for tonight so I think I will give it another shot. I need to make some local female friends where this shop is isnt the best of areas to meet people if you were on the street but you never know I might get surprised.I'll let you know what happens.

Before I forget thanks for all the new hair comments I'm still not completely used to it I keep trying to put it over my shoulder to get it out of my face and it just isnt long enough. But on the upside it is sooo much faster to take care of and was I cut my morning time down by 15 minutes just on brushing out the knots.

and Finally the countdown to Michaels and my vaction is on one month from Thursday and we are heading to Universal in Florida. Michael wants to make a countdown calender so he can mark off the days till we leave.

hello secret pal!!

Hi everyone thanks for the hair comments its funny all the women at work love the new look and the men are like why would you cut your hair. My husband included, they dont realize it took 1/2 an hour every morning to brush out and keep up. My arms were tired and yes its for a good cause I dont have time to volunteer for many things lately so this is my way of contributing.

I got a really cool ecard from my secret pal today. Thank you secret pal I still dont know who my secret pal is going to be I havent gotten a name yet to spoil they said everyone should have them by friday. I think this is a neat program who doesnt like presents from out of nowhere when you dont know they are coming. I had to set up another gmail account today just for secret pals I was the one on sp6 that had my name on my hotmail account. I felt like a goob at least it was my now exname from a privious marriage not my real name. I'm all set for this round. Game On.

hey did you know its national de-lerking week me No me neither had to share this with you all so say HI ok.

A lady I work with make me a needle holder that you roll up when I was first learning and I have already outgrown it I really need something to put circular needles in as I'm starting to get quite a few lately.

I cant believe I havent posted in a week. I had a good Christmass but I got really bummed out Christmas day afternoon. Thats probably why I havent blogged I just didnt feel like being very social. What happened was I told everyone that we would be home Christmas day stop in and say hi. I made turkey and weiners, pies and snacks and do you think even one friend showed nope. I had all this food for nothing and people had said we have nothing to do we'll be over. I hate that it just made me really depressed I didnt even get out of my pj's last Monday.
I had to work the rest of the week and we were really busy. Friday when I got out we got into the truck and drove down to Rays family's in Mass. This time we stayed at a holiday inn that had an indoor pool and a hot tub, but the hottub wasnt very hot they front desk said they were haveing problems with it. So Ray and I swam around for awhile Friday night and Michael went down Sat morning. The room with the pool was warm but running back to the room wasnt by the time you got back you were shivering or I was.
Saturday we went visiting the family it was all good everyone was healthy and dads house that just got remodeled after having an electrical fire last year came out beautiful.

I have updated my photos on the side at my photo album with all out Christmas photos. Take a look if you want.

We didnt do anything for new years we must be getting old. Today I am just updating stuff on the computers and working on my knitting I just got done a hat for my mom and am going to make one for myself, I never keep anything I make so this will be a first.

The big thing I'm doing this week is cutting my hair 2 years ago I donated 14 inches to Locks of Love I think I'm going to do the minimum of 10 inches this time I could do 14 but Ray wants me to keep a little of it last time it ended up really short by the time we got done.
