Its only Tuesday and it has been a hell of a week already. We went hunting in the rain alllll day Saturday saw a couple of deer but nothing to shoot at it was really windy.
Sunday I had to hike up a mountain with Michael and the cub scouts and it was so windy we kept hearing trees and branches fall.
Monday night Michael decided he didnt want to go to tae kwon do and it was fine with me I was still pooped from the weekend.
Today is Happy Halloween for some people my darling son gave me the guilt trip this morning. Apparently they are having a party at day care for all the kids and he wanted me to go. But I cant the guy I work with has to work a second job tonight and cant stay to five so I have to. Michael gave me the mom you never come to my school stuff, now wait I do everthing else like choir and hiking but he said its not he same its not school stuff. So he made me feel like total shit. The guy I work with said no so I have no choice of course he doesnt have a family at home so he just doesnt give a shit. So I called my mom and asked her to go with Michael and then take him to her house for supper and we will pick him up and go trick or treating from there.
We only go a few places, like close family and then just on our street but its tough working till 5 and his bed time being at 7 and we dont really eat the candy either, ok I'm done crabbing.

on a good note well kinda I had my year review at work today I cant believe its been a year anyways most of it was good but he said I should go cloths shopping because some days my appearence needs working on. I was like what, I never saw that coming. so that was the bad news for one because I cant afford new cloths he'll just have to deal with it, but the good news is I got a raise it wasnt much but its something. The funniest part is today I was sooo mad because my partner wouldnt cover for me I started looking for another job and the raise has made it tough to leave its almost worth putting up with his shit.

Knitting news: I am stilll working on the baby blanket for my friend I think I'm going to put it down and do some christmas gifts she isnt due until spring anyways.
My secret Pal got her box and posted about it on her website I'm glad I was getting worried it was lost in the mail and I heard from my Pal this week she had some type of operation on her leg Get well soon secret Pal.
I'd send you a get well card but I dont know who you are ;) Thanks for staying in touch.

well almost another week has passed not much new on going on here. Michael had his normal week tae kwon do on Monday and Choir on Wednesday. We were bad parents last Sunday we had a bunch of running around to do and by the time we all got home we alll forgot about cub scouts. come on its on Sunday night, its tough to remember, until we get an email saying sorry Michael couldnt make it last night. oops.
this Saturday is opening day for hunting season and its gonna rain and rain hard with lots of wind sounds like fun doesnt it. We were going to ride up with our buddy Mark because Jamie is going to take Michael and my truck and go bowling or to the movies or something. Last night we were talking about it, I think we will also be taking Ray's truck in case I'm to wet and want to go home. I'll probably be fine but just in case I want a way to get out.

Lets see on the knitting front I'm about half way done a baby blanket I'm making for a friend that is due after christmas, I figured I needed that much time just in case I get bored with it and put it down to do something in between and let me tell you doing a blanket pattern over and over is boring.
Does anyone know how to put those cool bars on the side of blogger for knitters to show works in progress I want some and dont know how. If you do and will help me I'll give you my login. Please and thank you.

I havent heard from my secret pal about the box I sent her last tuesday but I know ups and 10 days from maine to colorado sounds normal for ground. I dont know. I hope she likes it. when this is over I'm going to ask her to get me a Broncos jersey I live in Maine and love the Broncos doesnt that wind my die hard pat fan neighbors when they play the Broncos I hell ya hooo out the door every time they score just because every sunday we listen to them do it when the pats score. Ray likes the Giants and he grew up in Mass. we are just odd balls I guess

I am having one of those days, its rainy out and work is slow and I miss some old friends, you know the ones you thought you would grow old with. I have two such friends D & G I have spent most of the day searching the net just trying to find a trace of them in a blog or myspace, something, I found G. on a white pages search but it had no real info unless I want to pay for it. D. nothing no trace I thought the web was all powerful.
G. and I met in college we were really close and she met D. and we all used to pal around together, he and I went to pick out her engagement ring for her the jeweler thought we were the ones getting married. Move ahead a few years I became much closer to D like a brother he told me first when they were having problems and he wanted a divorce, I consoled G when it happened. I approved his future wife and still love her with him they are good for each other. G was there for me when I got married and then divorced and then met Ray. I was there for G when she decided to move to NC. Then D. moved with his wife to SC for work. I went and saw D a couple of February's ago and not last summer but the summer before he came back to Maine and I saw him.
Now we have all lost touch. I wonder now and then what become of G. when she moved I never heard from her again. She knew D and I were friends and really close and I refused to take sides for either of them and I thought she was ok with that but she severed all ties with me it seams.
D. I dont have any idea why he stopped staying in touch. I sent their kids christmas gifts last year and the year before and have never heard a thing about it. No thank you nothing I wonder if they even got them. I tried using the last email I had for D and got no reply his other email didnt work.

For some reason the last couple of weeks I really miss D. like a part of me has been missing and if I find him I will be whole again. Does this make sense to you.

G. I would just like to know if she is ok.
Old friends what becomes of them do they ever think of me. I have one old and dear friend that knows everything about me. I make new friends but its not the same its the old friends I feel myself missing more and more.
I guess the rain outside is just really bringing me down. I got an email from Michaels teacher that he was real whiney today and cried alot about little things like he was just down and overtired today too.
so that didnt help.
Please try to have a good weekend the rain they say is going to stop overnight so I am going to try and go hunting for awhile in the AM maybe that will help my mood.

happy birthday Michael

Today is my little guys 6th birthday. We got up this morning and I made him french toast for breakfast and we went to church. Michael really loves Sunday school, after class he learned about lighting the candles on the alter when mass starts. Next week he will be doing it for the first time, its funny how excited and important he felt. He also wants to join the jr choir and play I dont care its just one more night we will now have something to do out of the house, like he doesnt do enough already. I took a few pictures today the first one is of Michael and his big sister Jamie she rarely lets me take her picture and she is soo pretty I loved this picture.

the second picture is of me with my parents I dont have many of those either. I am very lucky in the way that my parents divorced when I was 12 but they have always remained friends to this day. Right after the party Ray and Michael left to go to my mother in laws house until Wednesday. They are going bird hunting up there its a good dad/son vaca they try to do every year but I miss them already. The next couple of days will be boring in a good way.

Hey whats up with my knitting I finished the sweater for michael I so wanted him to wear it up to my mother in laws because she is so good I wanted her to be impressed one problem Michael grew faster than I could knit, I knit the largest pattern but I think it was made for small children or for the smallest 8 year old size I've ever seen. Then when I was at my appointment at the hospital this week I started a hat for my stepdad. He was over today and it is HUGE on him like twice as big as it should have been. This is about the 7th hat I have made using this pattern but I have always done it in wool which he is allergic to so this one was pure acrilic and it sucked. So this week I get to go by new yarn and start a new one. I'll donate the big one to the church cloths drive someone will have a big head there I'm sure.

I only have one do not like and that is lion brand home spun I learned on it and now hate how it splits.

I am currently working on a sweater for me this time and its taking forever its real lacey I think I was nuts when I decided to try this one

I’m slowly switching to bamboo instead of aluminum, and slowly trying circular I just haven’t gotten the hang of it yet.

I bought a yarn winder last month to use for my spinning.

a wonderful lady I used to work with taught me to knit on our lunch breaks.

I started one sock about a year ago and never got the hang of getting the corners tight so I gave up on it.

I like the 4th of July we all go on a family camping trip it’s a nice weekend that I always look forward to, not stressful like the big holidays.

I saw a woman in boston knitting two socks on one circular needle and have never been able to find a pattern to do that and I have looked and searched all over. I think its called magic loop.

no I started one once and it was coming out like crap so I quit I would love to have some of those cool homemade socks I see on everyones blogs if I ever found the pattern from the ? above I might be tempted to try again. My shoe size is a womans 8-8.5 I’ve never actually measured my foot.

Hello everyone lets see I have got an update for you. where to start. I'm a boring person wait if you read my blog you already know that.
I went out hunting Saturday and saw my first deer of the year. She had to stop behind the one pile of brush near where I was sitting she turned and looked right at me and she was GONE. Lets just say that pile of brush is NOT in my way for next weekend.
Sunday we went to the Fryberg fair it was drizzly and crowded everyone was in the buildings to get out of the rain. So you walked in and bam into a wall of steamy body heat. My ex-ass was there we talked for all of two minutes you know how is the family and stuff. Its kinda funny I spent 5 years of my life with this man and its like running into a stranger and saying hi. Absolutly no feeling at all almost weird in a way. Oh and he still looks like shit at least 10 years older than he actually is gotta love that.
Michael had fun went on some rides I like that he is big enough that I dont always have to go with him anymore, its alot cheaper that way.

Tomorrow I have to go to the hospital for my next Remicade treatment this stuff is pricy but it is working sooo good almost to good I'll be a little graffic here with Crohns you always have to go and its really loose and now with texture I'm like ouch that hurts its to firm. quit laughing at me I can hear you. at least its not the runs right.

I also called my dermatologist today the stuff I have for my head isnt really working its a moose and its hard to get onto the scalp so he called me in a shampoo to see if that helps I hope its cheaper thats all I have to say even with insurance it was 40 and thats alot right now.

Michaels birthday is next Sunday, we are buying little pumpkins again for the kids to decorate they really liked that last year. And this year a big change for me I'm buying pizza and having it delivered. Every year I cook on the grill and miss almost everything that is happening I was doing burgers and dogs and all the fixing this year I refuse to cook. I want to enjoy the party.

Ray and Michael are leaving after the party to go up to my mother in laws bird hunting for a couple of days they were gonna go next week leave thursday night and come home sunday but as luck would have it they are doing school photos on Friday and I really dont want him to miss the class pictures, I know I'm gready but this happens only once a year and I want the pictures of my baby and his first grade class.
