I'm ok, here, knitting and still reading everyone post that I can but I have been realllly busy this week end of year at work, the holidays and relitives visiting and tomorrow we are driving to Mass to do some visiting. things should be back to normal next week I hope.

Look what I made a needle felted gnome. I took a class at the portland fiber gallery last night. My aunt was going to come with me but she bailed, actually her boss gave her a last minute report to do. Thats ok I still had fun there were 6 people in the class and every gnome came out a little different, it was alot easier that I thought it would be. I might make a bunch next year for gifts a little late to do it this year. Have fun shopping I have to finish mine on Saturday I have no more time off.
oh and Michael lost his second tooth last night I'll have to get a picture when I get home I didnt even get to see him, he was in bed when I got home and still sleeping when I left, I hate that.

The card game was called 12 step rummy.

Now I just have to pick up some more cards and booze for this weekend I just home my dad or Kati doesnt get sick thats what usually happens when we make plans with them.

my son made mom proud. Yesterday it was his turn to light the candles at church and he did a great job. Then he had to go up with the childrens choir and sing he is such a good little boy I just had to brag. Yes he has a tie on.

Knitting news; Did I tell you I finally finished my baby blanket I was making for my friend I am soo glad that is done. I am now making some fingerless mittens for myself it gets chilly at work. Then I'm going to make mmm I dont know something, Tomorrow night I am taking a needle felting class, my aunt is coming with me she said she was looking for something to do on Tuesdays so I asked her to tag along it should be fun.

Question: back in the 80's we used to play a card game that was really fun and I dont know the name of it. There were nine or more things you had to do the first one was something like run of 3, set of 3, one was run of 7 set of 3, 3 sets of 3, the last one was a full run, then if you got it and the others didnt they had to do that line over the object was to get all the things done first you start a new hand every time someone completes a line. we have no plans for christmas eve so my dad and his girlfriend are coming over to play cards if we can remember the rules or what it was called. I emailed my ex stepmom she is the one we got it from but she hasnt gotten back to me.

Edit:99 looks close but it doesnt have the other thing run of 5 set of 4 that this game had.

Have you ever been forgotten on your birthday by your child. Well I have for the 3rd year in a row my daughter has forgotten my birthday 4 years ago she remembered because Ray needed her help getting my present. I would understand my 6 year old not knowing but she is 16. When we were on our way home Saturday she called I kinda got excited but nope she asked me to print something for her for school no mention of my birthday. I dont even want a gift I want nothing but a phone call is that to much to ask. And no I'm not going to tell her, I cried enough about it the other night.
Michael did his best to make me feel better after church yesterday he did something that brought me to tears in front of everyone. After mass every week they take the flowers off the alter and give them to someone, while I was getting us some hot cocoa and cookies Michael went up to the lady that had the flowers and asked her for one when she said why he said my sister forgot mommies birthday and I want to make her feel better. He came running up to me and said here mommy, happy birthday, I love you gave me a hug and ran off just as fast as he came. The woman he got the flower from told me the rest I think she was teary eyed too.
Kids are amazing arent they both of them made me cry this weekend for different reasons.
I'm working all week and sometime in all the busy stuff going on I have to attempt to do some shopping wish me luck.

Its my Birthday!!!!!

All right all right Kat ratted me out its my birthday. I love you Kat for being my best friend. hubby and I went out last night for Lobster stew down the beach and spent all day today hunting, I saw one deer just at dark 5 feet away it was cool nature is amazing. (no I didnt get a shot at her) Just like my friends that visit me hereare amazing. We are now going to sit on the couch for the rest of the night just to warm up from today. and watch the movie my darling hubby bought me.
